Recently Refurbished Suites

The Sunfold is a family-run self-catering guest house perfectly located on Weston-super-Mare's seafront close to the Pier & opposite the legendary Tropicana. The town centre is just a few minutes stroll down the promenade, as are other local amenities such as the Playhouse Theatre, railway station, golf course, multiple cinemas, the Winter Gardens, pubs, clubs and many restaurants. Other popular tourist destinations are all within travelling distance, including Bath, Bristol, Glastonbury and Cheddar as well as attractions such as Wookey Hole and Wells Cathedral.

2024 POLICY:

Following our extensive renovations and conversion to self-catering suites/studios after the pandemic, we have had a hugely successful few seasons with our new offering. We’d like to thank all of the guests who stayed and had faith in us to help their UK holiday plans come to fruition. 

• To reiterate, all our rooms  are now SELF-CATERING suites and studio apartments. There is no longer the facility for cooked or continental breakfast from our dining room,but all   apartments have been fitted out with beautiful new  kitchenettes along with all the kitchen/dining equipment you’ll need to enjoy breakfast and anyother meals at your own convenience.
• Our apartments are now  un-serviced. This means that a full deep clean is done prior to and  after your visit, but you will be provided with everything you need  to keep   things neat and tidy during your stay. We will of course  still be able toreplenish supplies and provide any replacement  bedding/towels on request.
  
• All of our communal  areas at The Sunfold should now be available for guests to enjoy -this includes our Dining Room/Bar & Lounge.  
• We will endeavour to keep  up the high standard of accommodation and will continue to maintain the cleaning routine we established post-pandemic.
• A damage deposit is now required, which will involve the collection of card details on arrival,which will be discarded upon inspection of the room on the day of departure.
  

All the apartments are well equipped and en-suite. We now have Smart TVs in all apartments (with Freeview Play, Netflix, iPlayer etc.) and Free Wi-Fi is enabled throughout the building. Games and refreshments are also available for those rainy days.

Due to the age and design of the property, this building is may not suitable for those with mobility issues at present, however we are eager to help with any special requirements you may have. Please get in touch if you have any specific requirements and queries.

We have limited off-street parking on a first-come, first-serve basis (reservation not-possible). We have two spots at the front of our property (also with EV/Hybrid charging point). If these are full, then there is plenty of unrestricted on-street parking in the area.
